Contest: Eight legs and a logo
Looking for the visual identity of the VII CLA

The organizing committee of the VII Latin American Congress of Arachnology (VII CLA), in order to encourage creativity and participation of the Latin American arachnological community, held a contest for the creation of the VII CLA logo, intended to be the visual identity of the event.
Twenty-two proposals were received from eight countries, and five proposals were chosen as finalists. Our reviewers carried out the second round of evaluation, to choose the first place.

Carlos is a publicist and freelancer from the Dominican Republic. He considers himself a passionate person about learning and creativity, with high sensitivity to details, organized and an innate planner.
In his experience as a freelancer, he has developed two main aspects: branding and graphic design, where the following activities stand out:

Create and develop brands.

Create content for social networks.

Create and edit audiovisual content for brands within platforms such as Instagram and Youtube.
