Vaccines and Medications

• Colombian authorities require the yellow fever vaccine with an international certificate. Additionally, vaccines against hepatitis A, typhoid fever, and coronavirus are recommended. It is crucial to carry a medical prescription to purchase medications and have documentation regarding special medical conditions.

 

Documents for entering Colombia

• A valid and current passport is required. 

• In some cases, proof of departure may be requested. 

• Citizens of Mercosur member or associated countries can enter Colombia with an identity card issued within the last 10 years and with a clear photo of the holder, exclusively for tourist trips. 

• The maximum stay for tourism is 90 days. 

• The Check-mig digital entry form must be completed between 72 hours and one hour before the flight.

Electricity

Domestic electricity is 110 volts AC, 60Hz. There are two types of power outlets: flat or with a third round prong.
